Breast reduction is the surgical removal of breast tissue in patients with breast overgrowth. It can address the unique set of symptoms and discomfort that individuals with oversized breasts experience, and can be combined with additional aesthetic procedures for a more proportionate and pleasing figure.

Breast reduction is ideal for patients who want a substantial decrease in breast volume and may be OHIP covered in certain circumstances (Family Physician Referral required). 

General Anesthesia

Recovery is typically 1-2 weeks for daily basic activity, 2 weeks for light activity and 6 weeks for strenuous activity.
